How should I seal smooth and paint my cardboard

hahahahahaha! Dude, I've had almost the same idea. Less masking, less painting, impressive indeed

BUT after thinking that a whole suite would have been too difficult and time consuming to make, I've only built the helmet (Iron patriot pdo made with no details), upper torso (MK 42 front+freehanded fantasy back), shoulders (MKVII), one arm (MKVIII), one complete hand (easy and fully-articulated way) and neck

The coolest halloween costume of the whole club

Super comfortable, it did not tear at all. I didn't even sweat despite of alcool and dancing

Thanks to everyone who provided PDOs and knowledge. I cannot remember them all but surely Jackie and JF had a major part in my build

well if you're just painting the cardboard then I guess you could do Glue or Fiberglass Resin.

Or you could layer it in bondo and sand it down if you want it to look better.

Thank you to The Chief for helping me figure out the scaling lol. This was my very first attempt at a foam build and I made it just in time for Halloween. I had so much fun making the suit and look forward to my next project cause I am hooked! Thanks again guys and keep up the awesome job

just wanted to share a mark 42 suit i made for my buddy ironshawarma

i used jackieisrockin's leg file and ab piece

Looks awesome as always!

if your chest and back was scaled good to perfect. The abs should be the same scale. Reason is, if the opening between chest and back at the bottom fits you right, then the abs with same scale should fit you perfectly to.

Here's a pic of my progress so far! I used the same scale for abs as i did for chest and back.

Hey can any body show me step by step how you put together the shin like with their templates or something
ive made three and the part's aren't matching up. FOAM too
it would be soooo helpfull. Thnx its the foam files but I'm using cardboard

You have to use files from someone else, such as Helagak.

Here are a few helmets, although I know there are others out there. I really don't know which one is the best or most accurate so someone else will have to give input for that.

There isn't really an order (expect the numbers), what best worked for me was finding a center piece (of any part) and work your way too the outer edges.

We'll for me the lower calf peices wont match up the crazy pieces and part with the intake
