Well, i don't give up it's just that i want to finish 1 iron man cosplay for Japan Expo and if I continue with mark42 i can't finish in time and with school and homeworks i will just continue for expose mk42 on my house

pheonix30- Yes those are the pics i was talking about If you look at some trailer stills (when hes saving the people falling from Air Force One) it doesnt seem like it has the same detail as the Hot Toys figure. But ill do some more research Thanks anyways

Jackiie!!!! well i dont know if anyone has figured it out or for those who don't know what scale to use on their Mark 42 well the files resulted to be already for my height and with so i didn't have to change anything!!!! so the files for the Mark 42 are for someone about 5,5 feet tall. like i said i am that height and i didn't have to change anything refering to the scale

Yes youre right! I just decided to check (now that i have modeled enough pieces, all i did was import a helmet file [not mine i just used it for reference] to get the full height) and the height of my Mk 42 at default scale (425.232765) is about 5' 7". However, when you make the suit, you should add a few inches for it to fit better so in reality, it fits a 5' 5" person! Awesome I will update the first post

awsome just a smal question here buddy ive got the boot scale perfect for me so do i use that same scale for the shin and thigh or will i need to still size that up ?

Well im glad I only started the shin yesterday - I originally scaled it down 10% because the measurements down the bottom seemed too big.

However, my question... If it FITS a 5'5" person, what size would the suit actually stand at, as a statue/display
I stand at 6'1 but I just want a mark 42 to display in one of my wardrobes im converting a hall of armor type thingy

But what size would it actually stand at?

well my feet are a uk size 7 and im 5'7 buddy 387.317055 and i used this scale

I think the boot can kinda be on its own scale (as long as it fits ) but its the SHIN and Thigh that must be the same scale

If it fits a 5' 5" person it should stand at about 5' 7"- 5' 8" depending on what scale you use (you want to add a few inches to the scale to make it fit better. If you are 6'1 you dont want to scale the suit at 6'1 or it wouldnt be that comfortable or well fitting. You might wanna increase the suit height to about a height of 6"3-4 to ensure a good fit.) Not sure what scale that would be though.

2D menu-->Edit mode-->There it is
But im not sure about a 10% increase that might not be enough. Iron Man is supposed to be about 6' 5" so with that height the scale would be about 488.381272 for a 6' 5" tall Iron Man statue :thumbsup

sweet thanks man should be much easier to get right now hehehe so looking forward to the back but no rush , that is y i started with the boots heheh get them done and then the shins and then the thighs ect ect i think i will either start a new thread or just keep it on with the gemini

if there good files then no doubt its robos files also you can scale the armor down to a scale of either 22 or 23 wich should fit nicely wich is for someone 5'4- 5'6 and depending on your head circumfrance the helmet shout fit

noooo he is 5'6 inches tall.....cause im 5'5 and 1 meter 70 cm
