Ha!! Yeah, ya beat me to the draw......
I rather gave up on all my Jackie Dearest stuff some time back, just remnants laying around here and there now.............
The pattern on the vinyl is in rather high relief and I think it could stand to be taken down quite a ways. The acetone takes off the shine, but it doesn't lower the relief any......I always meant to experiment with a piece to see if very low heat from the iron would flatten it some, but never did.
I did a little sanding on a sample just to knock off the shine, but again, some experimenting needs doing to flatten it out. The design on the Jack's is hardly discernible except very close up, so it needs to be knocked down quite a bit. You do know/remember that the pattern on the vinyl, though exact in design, is actually mirror image to the pattern on Jack's baldric.
And, yes, God Bless the good folks at Lewis and Sheron Textile, Co., after MUCH begging and pleading from many of us jackaholics, they were able to finally get the mill to run some more of the Ebony 903.

The Licorice was just too wrong, especially when we knew and had had what was right!!!!!
