Hi there guys, sorry I haven't answered before, but I've been real bussy working on my SS X-Wing. I have a cardboard prototype model ready whit articulated wings. I build this model based on red 3 and now I am correcting the mistakes of some fuselage measures and building the final test fuselage before constructing the original styrene fuselage. I am quite happy with it, Il post pictures when I am a little bit more advanced an sure of my version.

I believe there is a side profile in "The Blueprints" book. I have one on order from Amazon. A bit different from the original 500 dollar one...this one is only 60 bucks, so we'll see if it's more or less the same.

Got my copy of the book the other day. Awesome! A lot of great drawings. I haven't seen the $500 edition, but the $60 version was good enough for me.
A tone of sail barge info. A must have for this project.
Only one problem with my copy... the last half of the book's pages were creased/folded from binding. Amazon is replacing my copy. Hopefully the replacement isn't the same way.

Update. I just got mine. I was a bit hesitant, questioning how a book that was 500 dollars was suddenly 60 dollars, but it seems to be the one. Definitely a smaller edition but still informative. Particularly on the Sail Barge and Skiffs. Even though the book's size is smaller it is still quite large and will be difficult to scan on a regular scanner, especially if still bound. Nobody is going to unbind a 500 dollar book, but perhaps someone will at 60 bucks.
There are more blueprints of the sets, rather than models or props. Some of the articles leave you with more questions than answers.
But all in all, definitely worth the 60 bucks.
