Ok y’all, I need some help…

Right off that bat, I am not new here as I’m just using my alternate account for the sake of convenience since it’s connected to my main email. I’ve been a member since 2019 at this point and can promise I am a reliable member! Anyway…

I started a project back in 2020 where I set out to replicate Darth Vader’s lightsaber from ANH using a 2 cell Heiland flash I picked up for cheap (around 60 bucks which ain’t to bad considering its pristine condition). Although I did end up, sort of, completing the project, I haven’t been satisfied lately about where I left off. I essentially converted the 2 cell without getting a one cell extension, leaving me with a stubby Yoda hilt.

Getting to my point,
I am desperately in search of a ONE CELL extension for a Heiland flash that’s in decent shape to finally put this project to rest with a satisfying conclusion as I’ll have everything to finally create an accurate ANH Vader hilt.

If anyone can reach out to me about selling one or providing me with sources who may have what I’m looking for that would be greatly appreciated. I want this project to finally end after 5 years of development and I NEED YOUR HELP!

Below I have some reference images as to what I’m looking for EXACTLY. I need to be able to screw this on to the bottom of my 2 cell flash.

Thanks in advance to anyone taking the time to respond or to read this thread!

Something you can do, an old trick from the old days, is cut the 2-cell tube right at the very place where the top of the clamp sits on the Heiland tube. Then, cut a different tube like a chrome sink tube or second Heiland exactly the same length as the clamp. Third, use something inside the Heiland like either a tube or a solid piece like a dowel, and assemble the top of the Heiland, the clamp over the cut tube hiding the cut seams, and then the bottom of the Heiland and glue it all together. It won’t be quite as long as it should but if you don’t mind a visible seam you can cut the chrome tube a little longer and put the seam on the grip end.

If you use something like a pipe cutter be sure to wrap the Heiland tube with something like electrical tape to keep the cutters metal wheels from marring and scratching the chrome finish.
