Is this Harry Potter poster for real?

I mean, It's a battery right?

Do they think the public are so lazy they won't read the entire title?

It doesn't work like T2 did. I thought iD-4 was a stretch.

Dumb.

Well, it's better than having a poster that asks "Who will die?".

Seriously, when I saw shirts with that tagline before the final book was released, I was done with Harry Potter. Last thing I want to think about when the next book comes out is 'who dies next?', and that's all these books were after Goblet.

<---die hard HP (lol) fan.

Couldn't care less what it says. The image is amazing. Can't wait!

Agree. Impressive image. Trailer also looks like they haven't digitally coloured this one to death like 6. Thank god.

The HP7 is kind of lame, especially in that it completely discounts the "Deathly Hallows" subtitle, but the artwork is kinda beautiful...

Even when I think I've seen it all, I'm still suprised at the nits the will be picked. I never thought anyone would complain about an abbreviated title with such a gorgeous, provocative image of the castle engulfed in flames staring them in the face.

A battery??? I'm lost as to where your point was. The poster looks perfect to me. It's only intended to be a teaser anyway, though I agree, they should've put the Deathly Hallows in the title bit. It's only the whole basis for the end of the freakin book (or movie, take your pick)

It was pretty clear to me as to what the poster was for.

The H and P of Harry Potter is too recognizable to mistake it for anything else.

Though I would have just done the entire logo to keep consistent with the other films. Or just simply have "It All Ends Here" without the HP logo. People would connect that with the image of Hogwarts and get the idea.

I'm waiting for the next generation of Marketing people though in about 5-10 years and seeing some REALLY bad stuff out there for movies.

Could you imagine a new Batman franchise started and have this for the text on the poster:

"OMG Batmanz Started All Ovr...

Jokerz Return LMAO <3 :p

Plz see it soon!"

It's cross-promoting the biggest product placement in the movie, HP sauce!

I think the poster is cool. I'm hoping the one sheets are good enough to own. I'm really hoping for two Drew Struzan posters like he did for the three Star Wars Special Editions.

That trailer has me cautiously hopeful that the filmmakers have stepped up their game for these last movies. Overall, the Order of the Phoenix and the Half-Blood Prince were epic disappointments for me in terms of adaptations.
