Is there a solution to the ROTS Vader helmet neck hindering?

I was all for the ROTS Vader until I heard that in SW theory's fan film Vader Shards of the past that the reason they did not use a ROTS Is because of the neck hindering the actor (DarthHater). I want to keep the 'plugged in' look of the ROTS I was thinking I could make the left and right edges of the neck OT height and just have the front of the neck long enough to go under the armour but I'm not sure If this will work as it may be dependent on the armour (Will be Portumac) I was thinking of 3d printing a helmet I saw an STL with a slightly different neck like this.

If anyone can help I'll be most grateful.

It seems anyone wearing this iteration has to do the “Batman turn” as a result of the mobility limitations.

I have the MR ROTS helmet.IF you want to wear it under an armor you must glue pieces of hard foam inside the armor. So you have enough space to turn your head.

Under the front of the armor infront of the shoulders.;)

You must only have enough space that you can move the head. It´s a little bit tricky but it works.

Well I was planning on a 'stunt' ROTS (see stunt ESB helmet for reference) since its all black so I would need better neck movement to contribute to that.

Yes the scratching is a also a big problem. You must prepar the armor that you don´t touch it with the helmets neck. You can also glue thin foam under armor areas that can scratch very easy.

Thank you I'll take this into consideration when building my ROTS thank you both for advice
