Is it custom to send original pieces on paper rolled up in a poster tube?

I just received a screen-used item from HeroProp. It is a medium sized original hand drawing.
They sent it to me rolled up in a posted tube. Is this customary? I would have expected them
to send it to me in a flat container with a 'do not bend' sticker on it. The way they sent this is
very surprising.

IMHO...

that is normal practice.. to avoid any bends/creases in the paper/product...

'do not bend' stickers (or most any stickers) are ignored in normal US postage IMHO..

Unless you bought an item that was specified as being mounted or framed, I don't think anything is out of the ordinary. Rolling it up is the easiest way to avoid most damages in most cases.
