Is anybody interested in a "business" partnership...?

Jmtwo, I will send you a bigger file... ;)
But if you need an Illustrator file, just let me know... Ok? :)

Thank you all :D

Just send the bigger file. I might get to do some work on it tomorrow. :thumbsup

LMK if you need my email again.

Here's a little teaser of the Raygun getting under way.

After I started cutting out parts, I found that the grip was a bit too short, so I went ahead and lengthened it just a bit. Now it's pretty close to the size of a webley.

Do you know that I love you, right?
Also the size of the handle looks better now (good catch).

I'm your biggest fan. :D

After the raygun, the Firefly gun.[/b]
Could be cool prop in real-life... :love

That's looking pretty darn sweet... nice progress. :thumbsup

I was thinking (yes, I know I'm dangerous when I'm thinking, fortunately this doesn't happen too often :D )...
How about an entire Steampunk/Victorian series of props?
I mean: weapons, scientific instruments, medical devices... Basically a sort of "steampunk explorers" stuff...
What do you think? :)

Yes. Remember awhile back I asked you about Steampunk?

Yup, and now (after a big and exaustive research) I'm sooo addicted to steampunk, that I'm thinking every moment at new things... :D
After a small work that i HAVE to do, I'll start posting some sketch... ;)

I believe Ramiel said to post other custom design here so this is mine.

It will be machined from brass, copper and steel with black oxide steel hardware and walnut grips. The green section is to be a diffused polycarbonate tubing that will light up with a (for the time being) high powered green LED to give it a power core look. I am toying with the idea of having an on/off switch somewhere to turn the 'power core' on and when you pull the trigger it will shimmer as if it was being excited. The blade is sharp in the drawing but given real world use, will probably be made dull so I don't cut my fingers off.

I like it, has a "german" feel... :)
If the brass is engraved and you will put a nice logo on the grips, this could be a nice collection piece. :D
I would love to see that green light in person, but not in front of the gun. ;)

anyone ever play any of the Fallout PC games?
Great stuff in there.

oo, i like rayguns :D

hello could I ask what brush settings you are using to get the chacole type line in your drawing
its pritty nifty :D

The outline is a scanned image of a pencil sketch I've done (and since it's quite small it looks like charcoal), but you can try with these settings... ;)

thanks that was a great help :D

I know I'm busy, but it's not an excuse to let this thread all alone...
In the meanwhile I'm developing a couple of steampunk props that I'm sure you'll love (I'm an optimist) :D
