Thanks guys.
@mark: I was planning on soldering to the magnets. But instead I did ths:

I soldered the wires to some washers ad mounted them just below the magnets.
Then on the helmet, I pulled the springy battery contacts out of a push light, soldered them to the battery wires and mounted them on the helm.

And here you can see how they make contact.

It took some fussing around and trial and error to find the set up that worked best. It's a foam helmet so everything doesn't fit quite as well as I like. But it works.

LOOKS GREAT!!!! Can't wait to see it all finished! Where did you get the plastic for the eyes? I'm looking for something that will give that look.

michaudtime, i just took the lenses out of an old pair of saftey glasses.
Then I got a tutu from the dollar store. similar to this:

I covered the front of the lenses with the tutu material to defuse the light and bobs your uncle!

Five days!!!:facepalm I'm a terrible builder!!
Here is ALMOST an update!

The left shin is cut out and I am building it now. Pics should be up tonight. I am going to start coating everything this weekend. Have to wait for payday to go get the plasticote and a paint spray gun and paint. Sorry for the delays. :cry real update pics this weekend. I promise!

There are angle cuts on thigh especially the upper side. Careful, you place it too close

Thanks guys! These shins are kind of a PITA! It's really hard to see in pep viewer, but the bottom pieces at the ankle and heel don't attach edge to edge like most pieces. They go up inside the pieces above them! So you can see the silver line going across the ankle, that needs cut. It's always something! Haha

It took me 15 minutes to find the obvious :facepalm.
Don't cut it, it may not fit into the side flaps. Just heat it up and dis-glue it.
Same thing at the back flap (it goes inside).

Agree, to me thigh and shin are the most difficult to build, Make it symmetrical is even worse..

Thanks hide! But it's the same or less than every other IM builder on this board! I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I started!! Haha. I'm so happy to see the finish line in sight! =D
