I've been busy with work and Christmas shopping and haven't made any new progress yet

Shin armor concept

This one goes with the concept for the gauntlet

This is a different design that's starting to grow on me

I'm going to redo the concept for the gauntlet to see if they'd work with the same design

I started working on a new shield prototype
This time with the over lapping armor parts and coin

Sorry no pictures yet

With Christmas just around the corner I'm busy busy with family stuff and Christmas parties and dinners
(Ernie's throwing a huge bash down at the Angel Grove Youth Center!!)
that I won't have much time to work on this

But never fear! Every free moment I have I will be drawing and cutting and trying to get this prototype finished and make templates for the final version

I don't know why I made the bottom pieces rounded, but Im going back to the original design and making hard edges

The more I see this shield, the more I'm loving it

Still don't know if i should make it out of foam, or cardboard and resin/bondo it for a hard armor

stick to the roots man. Make it out of Foam. I know we don't have access to the original material they used. (I believe it's called"lion board?")

but I'd say stick with foam for that true look of the show with foam.

You should just commission me to make this for you,
so I can stop being jealous and know I took part in this thread of "awesome" in some way.
