You'd probably be better off making your own,
Get an undersuit and add padding with foam pieces and stitch another layer over the padding or just hot glue if it'll hold or something similar the "pre-made" ones tend to be pricey and bulky... too bulky for a ranger look in my opinion.
Saw this done onto a neoprene wetsuit with great success for a Nightwing costume method I plan to use for a future project.... pic below hides the odd bumps and love handles imo

I hear you about the spandex. I had a store bought GL costume and it left nothing to the imagination:$. Although the armor should help with that.

Meh, while the spandex is classic, it doesn't hide anything, which can be bad, imo. The wetsuit approach would work too. But I worry about the potential for excessive heat build up inside the costume...
If I remember right (and I'm feeling too lazy to check) you have a codpiece right? So, you could do either. Go with what feels right (as cliche as that sounds).

I dont know yet if there will be a cod piece. might just try to stick to the armor the the original white ranger has

its still a wip concept and im changing things as I go. i still have no idea what the final armor will look like

I'm wearing my Green Ranger shirt while working on the White Ranger....blasphemy? lol
I made a quick prototype of the shoulders
and im not too happy with it
I need to redesign the end piece. it dosnt look right and looks WAY too big
And after staring at this shield every day Im thinking ive been making it way too small.
Mine ends with my rib cage where the real white rangers is more at his abs
Ive been working sick and kinda getting burnt out so I may take a day or 2 off to recharge

If you're not going with the cod I suggest a dance belt or jock strap for...concealment.

Been watching Power Rangers like crazy for "research"....or cause its awesome!
And I forgot that the songs (while having horrible lyrics) were pretty good (kinda) rock songs
Im starting back at the gym tomorrow and was updating my Ipod and just HAD to add some classic songs from the song
Including 'Fight', 'Combat' and '5-4-1'
I might have to include the White Ranger theme to give me an extra push! lol

I know I havnt posted any updates in a while
