I've been a lurker of therpf for a while, but I've always an active member of 405th.com .

I've seen amazing Iron Man build out of foam, regular pep/resin/fiberglass and mold. This is a first metal Iron Man. I can only say one word, "WOW".

I can imagine wearing and moving in this suit will be limited.

The metal is 1mm thickness? Is it roof valley flashing?

I had thought of trying this with aluminum trim coil ( thicker gauge ) which is also used for flashing etc but the angles would be very difficult even with an aluminum break to make

Great job either way, looking forward to the painted completion

Armor is not''restricted''to the movements on the contrary, I expected many systems to be comfortable and I said that it is not my first armor, I had already made a armor test (not great) to see and modify the things you need to have good proportions and especially to learn how to use the metal.
I is done it There's almost 2 years now she has many errors but if anyone interested ....

Been a big fan of Iron Man since I was a kid in the 80's, and after seeing so many builds here of movie-replica armor sets, I never thought I'd actually see one done in metal! It looks great so far, and I look forward to seeing the finished suit!
