Iron Man suit... Pics from Chicago Comic Con

Hey all. Long time lurker just getting into costuming. Thought I'd share my first completed suit that I put together from pics I found on Google from the recent Comic Con in Chicago. Suit is 100% foam with the bulk of it being the BestStep anti-fatigue foam. The hands,fingers and neck were done in thinner "craft" foam from Hobby Lobby. Held the fingers on with elastic string from fabric store which worked great. Seeing the pics makes me want to go back and change some things for the next time I wear it!

Wanted to thank everyone who contributes to tutorials, posts pics, suggestions etc as all of it was incredibly helpful. Hopefully my pictures below can help out others who are putting together a similar suit.:thumbsup

Looks great! How did you do your cod/hips? I've been struggling with it and your design doesn't look quite like the one I have (yours looks more accurate) and I'd love to know if you have any tips or a good pattern!

Sure thing. I followed the OPs link below on how he did his cod. Basically attached the "upper cod" to the abs section and connected the lower pieces with velcro/straps. Hope this helps
