Iron Man MkIII suit animatronics

The code is the part I am still wrapping my head around, it will be interesting to see yours.

I didn't make the helmet- but yes it is perfect!

Should have the eyes done pretty soon. I also picked up a bunch of parts today for the gauntlet missile and hand repulsors so that's next to come.

You... you are my hero. [tears up a little]

Aw shucks...

As Benjamin Franklin said, "As we benefit from the inventions of others, we should be glad to share our own...freely and gladly."

I've learned an awful lot from other members here over the years so I'm more than happy to give back to the community. We're all here to help each other make killer costumes and props.

Eventually I want to open my own little shop to start cranking out boards and kits. Right now I'm entered in a contest to win $25K to do just that-
you can see my entry here (please feel free to spread it around- I'll take all the help I can get!)
Learning craft and technology through costuming

Keeping my fingers crossed! :)

Question Honus,

I trust you're using finhead's helmet. Can you tell me what size your head is? I'm planning on buying one (pressed for time) and was curious how the helmet fits in correlation to your head size with the hardware installed.

By the way...

AMAZING BUILD

I'm already subscribed to this thread. Saw the vid. Too awesome

Thanks in advance

My head measures 23.5" and it's very snug with the servo linkages where they connect to the arms that raises the face plate. There's plenty of room front to back and fitting the servos and electronics is no problem.
