i sort of created my own approach for this.
Foam under-armor. the refined fiber-glass pieces are then attached to the foam with velcro. this allows more movement and less irritation than if the fiberglass was right against your skin.
i made my own helmet from scratch. didnt use the pep files because i noticed a lot of people who use the pep files end up with helmets too big for their suit. this is especially important because EVERYTHING about the mark V suit is slimmer and smaller, including the helmet.
