Hi Guys , received lots of request on my latest Mark IV / VI version helmet chrome version , as ive made few full chrome as Mark II and chrome face plate at past , all these helmets end up with no perfect result and some issue after chrome.

This is the full chrome of my latest version helmet fresh out of the oven , but still lots of issue on the chrome , there are many small bubble dots , althought there are not easily seen it picture , but its not perfect .

So , just do it for fun , i brushed the chrome with a rough dish washing sponge to create metal line effect , it looks cool by the end result ......:lol

Yeah, i agree. I think the brushed chrome looks fantastic. Much more like the brushed alluminum look of the movie. I think a brushed chrome on the gold would come out nicely as well.

Excellent work leslee! I think that the brushed look is much more authentic, maybe try using wire wool, its probably not as rough as the dishwasher sponge, thanks for sharing your photos

The brushed chrome looks great, it's got the screen quality finish to it, slighlty weathered, Very cool :thumbsup , I love it!

omg this is amazing. i love the brush chrome. i think in the movie it had brushed gold.

The Look is Great! It looks like Ultron, Iron Man's bodygaurd. I know you know who he is Right? Tony Stark created ultron to protect IM in the comics.

out of the thousands of IM builds here, this has got to be the coolest looking one i've seen.

Wow O_O......just wow. Looks amazing

Well, that's what they did with the original helmet in Ironman. Chromed and brushed afterwards. U can see it at the 8 minute mark of this video Stan Lee meets Real Tony Stark at Legacy Effects: http://youtu.be/E3EFK020pgw
