Iron Man Helmet

Hey guys this is my lastest project its taken a bit long but its coming along.
I've been working on it for a month and a half, if it wasn't for my day job I'd be done by now. Anyways I thought I let it out on this forum cause I've seen some good stuff on here and I want some of your opinions. THANKS:rolleyes

Looks like the best IM helmet sculpt I've seen yet. I think its because the area under the eyes doesn't jut out like cheekbones. Some of the other sculpts have this and its just not there. It's a very " flat " face, like yours, if that makes any sense.

Since I've made the helmet slightly bigger theres definately room to put two small motors to lift the face plate, thats still in a design phase. Otherwise it will just be magnet.

Also planning to put fiber optic lights for the eyes I figure its the only way to see with it being lid up.

Well I suppose if he was Persian that would explain the garish red and gold colour scheme

Try using e-l light strip from E-Lite.com, I can see pretty good out of mine, can't see THROUGH the strip but if you place it right you can see out from under the strip. It's paper thin and only shines out. Also ,I'm using a manual slide friction hinge on mine but I 'm developing a compression spring release. press a button and it pops up auto. still in the test phase.
