Hi all, got some great Mark VII 3D print files from Iron Man Life size! Upper Body by NickSteen - Thingiverse and spent some time to print the helmet. Printed on my Up Mini and came out quite good. Just need some sanding. Here is the first look

I've got my old personal multimedia device and thought of putting this into the face shield & view it with a camera. It should look something like this...

Time to order the mini CCTV camera from eBay. In the meantime, I did some paint work on the helmet.

Got a pair of hinges from my construction kit toy and put it on the helmet. Don't plan to motorized it yet as the multimedia device is quite heavy and don't know whether the servos can lift it up or not.

Fit testing. A little big actually but hope that it will fit once all electronics and padding are installed.

And here comes the LEDs. 3 each for an eye, powered by 2xAAA batteries.

After 2 weeks of waiting the package to arrive from HK, finally it's here. Size is just nice to place at the mouth opening.

Did some testing for the connection. The camera is powered by a 9V battery. The multimedia device has its own rechargeable power pack. All these will be fitted into the helmet...

Successfully mounted and cramped all the electronics inside the helmet. Just use hot glue as it bonds quite well with ABS plastic. Now this is one heavy helmet....

Here is how it looks on my head. The view is ok as camera resolution is 5MP. But can be unstable while walking as the lens is 35mm. I think a 50mm camera will give a better view. Got to put my hands in front while walking to avoid accidental collision. All in all, this is just good for me & amazed my kids as well. Any comment and advice are greatly appreciated.
