I decided to make an arc reactor for my nephew for his birthday in a couple weeks. I am having a hard time finding a metal encoder wheel, or what looks like an encoder wheel just inside the outer glowing ring. I thought an arcade trackball or spinner would have the right size but the don't seem to. Mine scales out to be about 1.8" dia, though 2" will do fine. I've been around the arcade boards looking but nothing yet. Are there other sites I can get it from? A robotics site maybe?
