Iron Man Animated Helmut

I know we have all seen Le's automated helmet faceplate that opens and closes. Has anyone else who is willing to share their technique solved this one? Anyone want to provide a visual tutorial on how best to accomplish this.

are you taking the motorized function or just the ability to slide up and down?

Motorized using a servo of some kind.

well my idea for the motorized faceplate worked with the dungbeetle's IM helmet file made in pure cardboard using yoyo strings and a dynamo. The faceplate opens and the jaw drops as well, and when the faceplate closes the jaw also move up. Don't know if it'll work with fiberglassed or molded helm though.

I use a varient of the linear motion after watt version 2 on my war machine helm
