Hi everyone,
I'm new here, so I'm going to go ahead and post one of my recently finished projects. I do mostly replica blades (made from metal) from different video games/movies, etc. Though I'll occasionally work with wood, leather, and 3D printed objects as well. Anyway, I just made a replica of the iron dagger from TES: Skyrim. It has a completely wood and metal construction (no plastic or resin used), and though it is not truly made of iron (due to the difficulty of obtaining it these days), it is made of low carbon steel (almost iron). The handle is carved and stained mahogany, salvaged from an old desk. Unfortunately this blade is not tempered, due to my lack of space and funds for a forge, but it still makes a very good decorative blade even though it does not hold an edge well. One thing to note is that the sheath is not actually from TES, but rather my own design. This is mostly because I found the in-game sheath to be insufficient (I wanted something that covered the entirety of the blade, not just a glorified loop of leather).
