Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates - okay, so as the plan goes, we are going to buy the jumbo spandex to have it dyed. I am still also working on the process to error correct the right colors for the delta pattern.

oh yes, that's another layer I forgot to tell you guys...the deltas are DIFFERENT colors for each fabric. Even production found this to be the toughest part in creating these specials fabrics. Ugh ! I can't wait.

Not to mention the dark color that Kirk wears most of the movie.

It figures that the same color (presumably would have to be a shade of gray which, if I understand dye sublimation correctly, only tints the fabric and any underlying color will show through) for the delta pattern would not have had acceptable results for all three uniform colors, as it seems nothing about it so far has been easy.
