I received my Dutch helmet cast from Sean a few weeks ago, I also ordered a red mirrored visor to go with it. I knew immediately what I wanted to do. A little sanding and painting later I came up with what you see below. I still need to install the vent fabric and fans but you get the idea.

the only thing i could critizise on this is that the teeth are a little too white. could be flash tho

They are not as white as they are in the pic. The flash definitely made them brighter.

Very nice. My only criticism would be that chipping around the visor doesn't seem likely (how often would you run into stuff right there?), unless of course that part keeps getting bashed in by enemies. How did you go about ordering from the good Mr. Bradley? I can't ever seem to find any information on anything.

As for the weathering, I like it. I have some experience with brain buckets (ACH) and they get nicked like no other. Since when you're running through things you're not wondering is 'my helmet okay'.

In my experience with helmet, typically areas that are raised or have some type of ridge usually sustain the most wear. It may be from taking hits or just normal usage. Thanks for the constructive criticism though. I ordered it through him on the 405th. He has a buy thread here to though.

I would add some small weathering spots. Small scratches etc.

They are there as well, I used a sanding sponge in one direction but the flash pretty much washed everything ouT
