Inside of your Iron Man helmets?

Hello. I purchased a helmet from Biggeek1972 and I'm concerned it might not fit correctly unless I trim it a lot. I wanted to see what the inside of people's Iron Man helmets look like, specifically what kind of magnet or hinge systems are people using for the faceplate and neck pieces?

What kind of magnets are the best to use to hold the pieces together and do you just use hot glue on them?

For people with light-up LED eyes, how the heck do you see out of them? What's your vision like?

Hello buddy, I suggest you check out Projectearth7 's build if you want to learn more bout the magnets and stuff.. and as for magnet, we usually use neodymium magnets N42 strength..as for the sticking the magnets, i suggest using 2 part epoxy or fiberglass resin or even some rondo or bondo for the LED vision, check out stealth's tutorial on youtube for that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7bEyuJ2yxQ we usually leave a small slit on the bottom of the eyes to make vision possible, although its just a very very small slit (check video for visual explanation)

enrisan, i also got a biggeek helm, and my method was pretty good I thought. I dremeled out holes for small earth magnets.. these ones 100 Pcs Neo Neodymium Disc 3 x 1 5 mm RARE Earth N35 Magnets for Warhammer Craft | eBay


the good part about this helmet is you can put magnets around the temple area that will help you when the face is down to stay on, but it can also help mount the face piece when its up as well . heres a couple pics.

here you can see how the green arrows would connect when down, but also when up... the same with the red.

this view shows where in the back I put magnets to lock the helmet onto your head..

some idea where the magnets would go, I actually doubled up a couple on the top of the head so its alittle stronger a hold when the lid is up.
