I have a old pack of "module design flooring" from belgium, i could not find anything on the internet and it does not list the material on the box.

They are floor tiles of about 30cm by 30cm, it is (obviously) used for flooring, extremely durable (you could use this stuff to make actual armor that would absorb sword/mace blows) , it is rather easy to bend but does not stay in shape by itself (i have not tried putting it in a mold for a EQ: a week) i do not have a heatgun but i can get one, now what i want to know is: does it stay in shape when using a heatgun?

(extra useless info, you cut it the same as glass, put a small line with a stanley or pocket knife and break it, it is really easy to "touch up" (sand etc), i don't know if paint will stay on it but it already has a color and finish that works for what i intent to build (looks like black hammered metal with a texture)

It's a vinyl, or high density rubber. I don't think it will hold the shape, and it is very heavy too. You can try to make perpendicular "ribs" and glue it to hold the shape, but it's the weight that concerns me most.
I had some leftover carpet tiling and vinyl tiling to play with, and I decided to abandoned the idea.

Really? it isn't any heavier than regular plastic.

Hm...it's vinyl floor tiling then.
If you see carpet tiling, they use rubber underneath, now that's heavy. I have access to the rubber side only.
