Inferno squad tie helmet lens help

Ok, So I saw the guys on TESTED vacuumformed some red plastic lens material for the Inferno Squadron TIE Helmet. Does anyone know a good source for that? I'm not only looking for RED but other colors as well. I am trying to avoid dying some poly plastic if there is an off the shelf option available.

Message your local plastics supplier. If money's no object they will usually be able to hook you up with what ever you need (excluding the all but best & exotic stuff like 0.25 cast acrylic etc..).
They also will have a vast offcuts selection that can be had for a reasonable price.
Unusual acrylic like thin coloured pieces will usually sit in their offcuts section for ages so they'll be keen to get rid of them ( I've had companies chuck in loads of offcuts of a large size for free with big acrylic orders).
Amazon & eBay usually only have 3mm & up or lexan claiming to be acrylic (which is junk).

Meant to say, another option is to form them in clear & use some window tint film that's the colour you need.
I've done that for a few jobs for weird coloured acrylic, it's pretty easy to do.

Is there a good thickness in plastic for this purpose. I guess I really don't even know what plastic I am looking for...It would prob be the same as the green lens material people use for stormtroopers but in a dark crimson.....Thoughts?

I'd think 1.5mm max. 0.5 mm to 1mm would probably take the curve without heat bending / vacforming (unless you're going for the bubble hero lenses) . Extruded acrylic bends easier than cast (& it's cheaper).
