Indianapolis prop party info

The new guy will be there. But how much money to bring? That's the big question.:love
Todd

That's a good question. And one I have no real answer for.

However much I bring, it's never enough, but at the same times, there are deals to be had. Lets face it, even if the stuff goes for the same price as here, you would at least not have to pay for shipping, and you would be albe to hold it in your hand before you pay for it, unlike here on the net, so that counts for something too. :)

I'm going to bring as much as I can, though it wont be as much as I would like, I really want to come home with something new. :)

gobler - Watch out for some of those Hoosier prop types. They're some shady characters, no doubt about it. Keep an eye on your wallet, your car keys, and any other loose valuables at all times. ;)

Seriously, Jeff. It's a good crew out there. I miss those guys.

Guys if you need tables. let me know and I can pass that info along. There will not be tables readily available on the day of the show.

You know my post count never goes up no matter how much I post! FOREVER YOUNG!! lol

I've only been to one other prop party, so I'm a little naive bout the operations...do I need a table if I am not selling anything? if I am down for one table, is that for my odds-n-ends to just display? Are there any fees associated other than a hotel room if we stay the night?
Thanks!

last year to set up was free just show up and bring all your stuff you want to show, if you have anything you want to sell or trade you could put that on a seperate table. not sure what a room cost to stay in shouldnt be much, was a nice place I had a great time last year, met lot of folks hope to see them and new faces this year.:thumbsup

Yeah we got a real good deal on the rooms last year, I don't remember exactly what it was, but it seems like it was between $50 and $70, a night.

Hey,can we make trade requests? Like HP props or galaxy quest props maybe a Men in Black gun or a bust of Harrison Ford or some cylon .armor:lol:lol

Note the hotel does not keep tables on site so.. if you don't have them reserved, you might well not get one. I have to let them know by March 30th or so.

Below are the photos of the room that I have arraigned for us. I don't know the details on anything else but I know that if you show up on April 4, 2009 at 9am or so, this is where I will be setting. You know, this should be called the Anderson Prop Party since it's really in Anderson and not Indianapolis! NOTE the stage will be removed and will not be there to add space to the room.

Remember if you call about a room ask for the Williams Prop Seminar to get the best room rate. There are also some 5 hotels around within a 1/4 mile.

It looks like we're going to have a nice turn out. :) I wish I was on the list, but I'm still trying to get conformation from either my ride option. Both keep telling me "Maybe, just wait until it's a little closer, so I can see what's going on them, and if I'll be free." :( (If I could drive, I would rent a truck and be there with lots-o-props. ) So, I'm still in the probably, but still not sure category.

What, NO STAGE?!? So the dance contest is OFF this year?!? Bummer.

Yes, it should technically be called the Anderson prop party. But for out of state members, Anderson isn't much name recognition. How about the Indy north prop party? Extreme north.

Yeah like 20 miles north!

No the dance contest starts at 1pm like normal. This years dancing will be to the soulful music of Air Supply.

:lol

Ok This wasn't posted here, so here is some more info. I will have my vaccume form table for uses at the prop party. I had metion doing a resin panel. But Not sure about that as I love to talk about prop and didn't want to take time away from that. So I guess we might need a table for the vaccume former.
