Indiana Jones Triple Feature!

The Mayfair Theatre – Ottawa's home of stuff you won't see anywhere else Just a heads-up for anybody in upstate New York or Ontario, Canada. Tomorrow, (Saturday June 12), they are showing an Indiana Jones triple-bill at The Mayfair Theatre in Ottawa. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade will all be playing back-to-back, followed by a screening of Raiders: The Adaptation later in the evening. You can't beat that for a "Saturday Matinee Adventure Serial Extravaganza"! Our whole family is going, (me, my wife and our two kids), and we're really looking forward to it. Anybody else close enough to make the trek?

Maybe that was for the best. :lol I gotta say though, we had a blast! It was really great to get to experience an Indiana Jones movie on actual film, in a theater, with an audience. Totally worth the trip! I even got to meet the legendary (around these parts anyway), "Drunken Master" himself, Lee Demarbre, the host of the weekly hour-long radio program Drunken Master Review on 93.1 CKCU FM in Ottawa, and the man behind the success of the Mayfair Theatre itself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Demarbre
