The new Indiana Jones Game, The Great Circle, will arrive on Dec. 9th and with it hopefully a lot new props to identify and to hunt for. Here the first one. The photo in the Diary is from a cat mummy, which is exhibited in the British Museum in London.

And here a link to a printable stl file from Scan the world.

I found the original photo the prop photo used but don't have photoshop or anything to make it into a sharper version of the prop. I clipped and overlayed it just to show its the correct photo.

Yes, but in the actual game it looks like this now.

Who knows? Or a potential one that wouldn't wanted to be risked. The reason doesn't really matter to me. It just is a different image and prop now.
Hahaha, yes, I suppose so. A shame for those that had the British Museum 3d scan printed off as well though. It's not easy acquiring these Rare Antiquities!

Oh I did as well. It still does a fine job, just needs a slightly different paintjob. But I'd rather have a realistic looking thing based on something real than having the artificial but accurate looking Version from the game now. ;) The picture should easily be changeable.

From studying the screenshots i believe the lighter you aquire in this game is a 'GERMAN WEHRMACHT SOLDIER CIGARETTE IMCO LIGHTER'. Originals can be expensive but I've found a place that does replicas for a reasonable price.

Hope this helps some people out!

It's the same model Marion uses in the Raven, so a lot of us have them already. IMCO 6700's are all over ebay, but that one you linked to is a good price.

any thoughts on the illustration on the side of the one in the game? a picture of person?

I must confess this has me stumped as well. My guess is that's it's a figure as it really looks like legs in the bottom part of second photo

The lighter in the game is a modified IMCO 4700 lighter imho. It‘s the only model that has the handle attached to the round part. But it‘s squashed to the proportions of a 6700 junior. The sleeve design doesn‘t exist as well like that and I talked to an IMCO collector. So it‘s either the 6700 junior with a different handle or a 4700 with different proportions. I chose the 4700 and streched the sticker. The sleeve is shorter as well, but what you gonna do? It‘s at least time period accurate and I suspect avoiding copyright issues as well.

It's not the only model to have handle attached to the snuffer part. The IMCO-TRIPLEX JUNIOR 6600 also does. There may be more.

I mean visibly attached. Like this.
Would be cool but I only found this one. The 6000 Series have a kind of lit on top for the mechanism. The button to open is on the bottom. The old 4700 have the mechanism inside sliding it open by pushing in two bolts on the handle.

I still don't understand, how is that different from the 6700? Feel like I'm missing something. Also, did you pull the model of the lighter and graphic out of the game files, or is that a recreation?
The lighter is shown in the digital artwork (bonus content).

Here is the comparison of the mechanism of the 4700 and the 6700. I don‘t know how to show it better.

Do you think the one in Raiders was IMCO 4700 as well?
