It's something you put ontop of your cards when playing Texas Hold'em to protect them from people folding their cards and accidentally hitting your cards, which would make your cards a dead hand. If you watch the WSOP you'll see people put items ontop of their cards (little Budha statues, Coins...etc).
I would love to have someone (who I would pay) to sculpt a 1 1/2"-2" Golden idol and have it gold plated for me...ANYONE???

BTW...this is a really cool idea for a card protector. I don't play enough to warrant it, but a darn cool idea.
I have been a witness to a hand being mucked because the dealer thought it was folded...incredibly sad too as it was pocket queens....or so he said.
I think I'm going to make my card protector a bag of sand exactly the same weight as the idol.
