Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Hopefully not too far off track, but this month's (March 2010) National Geographic has an article about the Nasca indians including some aerial pics of the geoglyphs as seen in KotCS.

Another one:

Enjoy it.

Thank you, guys, really appreciated.

I've got a good amount of PMs asking me to make and sell some of these for forum mates.
Sadly, i must tell I have no spare time to make these replicas and work in the new one I have in mind at the same time...

Nevertheless, I'm sure my good friend DbCooper will be honored helping you with this, as his replicas and skills are the best I've ever seen.

Thanks

A quick job with Barnett's awesome files.

I am not sure the documents were laminated in 1944...
I have many WW2 originals identity papers and none of theim are laminated...

The original I posted further up and half a dozen others I found were laminated, all also had the INACTIVE punched in them through the lamination, so maybe they got laminated after to keep them intact, Indy could've done it anytime. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :rolleyes

I weather most of my props so they appear as they would if they've been around a while rather than the just issued condition.

Looks great. I love the "Inactive" punched in.

If some would like an ID done I can do them. I can laminate them but can not hole punch "Inactive " on them.

Let me know. I will look into cost and get back to you. Shipping would be a factor also but these aren't too bad to do. Send me a PM.

It would be nice to know if they laminated back then. I thought they did. I have a ID from the 20's that is laminated from my great grandfather.

are the files for the letter/env sized right from the get go? i think i have them printing wrog, they are all pixeled out.. :(

To punch the INACTIVE into them I printed off a picture of an original image the same size as the Barnett card, laid it over the Jones card, then used a tool from the wife's sewing box that is used for ripping seams or stitches. Then laying it on the cutting mat I pushed the sharp end into the corresponding holes on the original through the prop card.

Then once all holes are in the card I used the tool again pushing it into the holes and I rotated the card to make the holes look right.

Hope that makes sense, takes a little while but looks effective.

Card I used as template for the INACTIVE holes:

The original card I posted further up this thread has the inactive punched through the reverse of the card.
