In a Van Halen mood - Frankenstrat 78 build

I know there are plenty of Van Halen fans here so thought id show this. I saw one of the EVH striped series 1978 guitars the other day but didn't want to shell out nearly £1000 for it so thought I'd make my own.

Took me a week but its worth it. Will take pride of place with my others.

1978 paintjob with brass nut, maple neck and loaded humbucker pickguard which I also threw a kill switch into. Made this for around £100 all in. Really happy with how it turned out and it sound good too.
