Hello RPF,
I've got a question for the IRG's out there. I know several folks have taken artistic license with the Royal Guards' look in the past. My own suit is made from casa satin with a poly under robe and a mix of other assorted hand sewn pieces. My helmet is a Don Post modified, painted, and re-lensed, and I carry a custom made force pike. The one question that I've always wondered about is the finishing touches of the suit. I wear velvet elbow length red/maroon gloves with my suit and black imperial officer style boots. However, lately, I've gotten a good look at the upcoming Kotobukyia statue of the IRG and it looks more like the guard there is employing some sort of red leather glove. I've seen these before in other pictures, but am having ZERO luck finding them. The other question is that this same statue wears black boots, but I've seen versions with brown boots, red boots, and other assorted footwear. My two questions the masses are:
1. What gloves woudl y'all recommend for an accurate and functional look? Where is the best source for this glove?
2. What boots would you recommend for the same look? Again, sources would be a help.

I own two Koto statues (Vader and 501st Trooper) and I'll be purchasing this one as well. Amazing looking suit and we finally see the inside, or at least their version of it. :love
