Idea for the Cosmic Cube

with Captain America coming out this Friday, I was thinking about making a prop cosmic cube for my collection. Looking around i found this plastic containers online:

The Container Store > Clear Flush-Lid Amac Boxes

Im thinking the 4x4x4 box would be about the proper size. With the proper paint job and couple leds inside this could make a good prop.

Any comments or ideas?

If you can afford it, id coat the insides with aerogel with a translucent backing and put a few LEDs in the center.

The stuff is expensive, but has this great otherworldly look to it.

Love the aerogel idea, hopefully will be able to see some good caps of the actual one after captain america hits this week.

The new Time Lord psychic container toy could work perfectly. Already lights up and the scale isnt bad either from what ive seen. You would just have to remove that logo.

Funny! I was just looking at these cubes thinking they could be adapted as a Time Lord Psychic Container by nesting a couple of them.

But I want to achieve this slightly modified look to imply they're hypercubes.

So simply nesting two cubes won't quite do the trick.
