I cant spend a couple thousand on one of the printing machines, so I am trying to figure out a way to make them look real, So how do you all put yours together?.

What kind of ID badge are you trying to do? It may be as simple as printing something, and having it laminated (about $2.00 at a Kinkos).

Well I would like to do some on 20 mill PVC Cards, so they look like professional Badges, Kinda like a Credit Card.

Here's a Like to the type of Badges I would like to do, but these require a actual printer to do. I was wonder if thee was a way to print onto these with out the actual machine or maybe laminate on to them.

The cheapest way would be to print on clear sticker transparency with inkjet and stick to a plastic card blank (that you could cut yourself).

I've let them printed by a card printing company. Ain't cheap, but doesn't always necessarily been better than a sticky transparent - cause even with 300dpi, it can have trouble with certain fonts.

What Company do you use?

It's a german company so don't bother - look for a local advertising printing company, that also prints cards for membership cards and ID cards...
