It's an unusual looking costume - quite cybermanish:

I've never seen one done but it would be interesting to see someone attemot it. However, I'm pretty sure 99% of the public wouldn't have a clue what the costume was from.

The Dark Trooper looks like it would be a very uncomfortable suit to wear... regular TK armor is bad enough so I hear.

Personally, if you fell in love with it, it shouldn't stop you from doing it as long as it's in your capability/budget. ;) When I do my next costume or armor, my taste comes first; whether the public can recognize it or not isn't my concern as they can't even tell the different between a TIE Fighter Pilot and Darth Vader. :rolleyes

As for comfort, it can be arranged.....somehow. At least the Dark Trooper is not as bad as the Spacetrooper if you compare the sizes I think. :p

One of these days, I will love to do a Coruscant Stormtrooper from Shadows Of The Empire or The Sentinel from Dark Forces (haahaa.....WRONG person to do it as I am only 1.52m tall and those things are 2+m ) tho' most people won't recognize it unless they had seen the comics/cards or action figures........ :p

Since that figure was released I've always wondered about a costume for it... although it would have to be someone 6ft+ to suit it well, but being only 5-8... I'll stick to the TK...

so leaving at that....

Where's Mr Spanos ??

After his awesome Durge costume, this would defo have to be next for him...

If anyone could pull this one off, it would be him..

umm TKs are supposed to be skinny... and the 501st doesnt have weight standards (why i dont know) so go for it.

and luke was too short... but that didnt stop him. B)

would be a neat costume to see for sure, but it would be prob not cost effective, and you couldnt sell enough suits to recoup yer funds. :(

I saw someone do this costume a few years back. I think I saw it on rebelscum.com...though I'm not positive.
