I want to make TFA captain suit. I need some tips.

Whats up guys. I have read for a while of the forum but Have come up empty handed so far. Does anyone know what this fabric is called specifically(the blue and white stuff)? I know it is a herringbone pattern, but I want to know the fabric type.

Also, if anyone has made this suit, post some pics. I want to see some others work
