I've finally gotten around to taking pictures of some of my favorite prop items from my collection, and the guns that really got me started, Spooner's sidearm and holdout pistol from I, ROBOT. Sorry I don't have the pics here, but I can't seem to get them to look any good under the size restrictions. I've got links to my photobucket album.
I know the sidearm is relatively common (and often recast) but I have always liked the design of this gun. I got mine off of e-bay a few years back, around the time the movie was out. It was a rotocast two piece. I filled it with resin and then did the typical prep work. It's hard to tell from the pictures (and my major suck camera) but I did a lot of little weathering on the gun, and I wanted it to have that "oiled" steel look to it. I'm curious as to the origin of the mold, as the cast is hand numbered on the bottom of the trigger guard, "53139 (6)". Anyone happen to know the background for that?

The holdout pistol I've rarley seen, and mine was once again, purchased on ebay. It has the mark that I've seen on another "movie used" stunt pistol, but I have no way to back up it's authenticity as to origin. This piece was rotocast as well, and as with the other gun, I filled it with resin and worked it over. I also added a butt plate to "clean" the look of the whole thing, then painted it up.

Anyway, just wanted to share!
