I am sure that many of you that have purchased a mannequin have realized that they are not in the pose that you want. They are posed in less than optimal positions, and I wanted to correct that.
This guy was too skinny, and his head was turned and tilted to one side. This created a problem with wearing armor, as the chest was so thin, that when it wore the chest armor, there wasn't enough room for the arms to fit on. It also was difficult to fit a helmet on him, because his head was ******.
So I split him up the middle and widened him 2.25". This brings his chest width closer to my own. Hopefully, if his dimensions are closer to my own, I can use him for sculpting onto, for future costume work. I also straightened his head, so that a helmet will fit onto it.
I still have the legs to do. They need to be widened too, so that the thigh armor fits onto it. I just thought I would post a picture of my little rebuilt guy:
