I have been lurking around this site for years and I appreciate all the knowledge that everyone shares, so I have decided to try this year's Halloween contest. I am building the Hulkbuster from Avengers: Age of Ultron. My costume initially started out as a Ogre titan from the videogame Titanfall, I was the titan and my son was my pilot, although it was not my best effort and there was a time crunch, the costume didn't turn out like I wanted.. The costume did give me experience on walking with drywall stilts. here are a few pics of the build.

. I saved a lot of the pieces from this costume after Halloween 2014. I decided I can use the "skeleton" of the ogre titan and foam over it to create my hulkbuster
. All the pieces that are white are from the old costume, this also provided a rough scale of what proportion everything should be. After many months of crafting and molding foam the hulkbuster started to take shape

Some of the pieces from the ogre titan couldn't be used, so I had to craft some new pieces. After building it was off to get a coating of Flexbond, this is by far the best stuff ever. It blow away the 6 coats of PVA glue and Modge-Podge. I was also able to use a sprayer to coat the pieces quickly
. After I coated all my pieces with Flexbond, I sprayed 3 coats of red Plastidip which in my opinion gave me the right shade of red

The next paint was a rustoleum gold metallic which was way too bright and shiny for my taste and it did not match the rougher tone of red.
After, I painted all the pieces. I gave it a rough weathering technique and darkened the gold quite a bit.
. After many months of slaving away in the garage. I have finally completed my hulk buster

. I even had the approval of a certain princess at Stan Lee's Comikaze
Sorry my photos are jacked up, I cannot figure out how to rotate them on this thread.
