How to Thin out Tulip dimensional Puff paint?

Hi,

I would like to know how to thin out Tulip dimensional puff paint/ 3D fabric paint. My idea is to make it very thin, so I can make a wall around the chest spider of my TASM 2 suit and then pour the paint on to the spider to get a smooth surface.

Can I add some water into the paint and shake the bottle?

does anyone have experience?

You could just buy regular acrylic paint and mix with equal parts of fabric paint medium.

I am not planning using acrylic paint. I would like to paint the webs with tulip 3d fabric paint and the use the same paint, mix it with water and then fill the spider to get a smooth surface.

Anyone tried this? Or any suggestions
