The grips on my Graflex are slightly off and I want to reposition them using a grip guide. How do I remove them from the E6000 without damaging the flash?

I would also like to know how to shave down rivets to just the head?

Will it damage the grips? Im using wannawanga resin grips.

Still doesn't really answer my question regarding the safety of the grips. Any suggestions on shaving the rivets?

Just hold the graflex with one hand, and do a clockwise twist on the center of the grip, they will come off… big perk of e6k.
Just peel of the rest of the glue residue on the grip and the flash… use a soft rag to wipe off the surface to make it clean again .

I would be careful using a solvent to remove the grips unless you are going to replace the grips with new ones. A solvent like 99% alcohol or nail polish remover might release the e6000 but it could also damage the plastic grips.
I would try freezing the Graflex lower and then using something plastic like a plastic construction shim or a plastic Bondo spreader to pry the grip off.
Graflex’s tubes are not steel, they are nickel plated brass. Be careful trying to scrap/sand e6000 off the tubes, sandpaper/steel wool/scotchbrite pads will go straight through the thin nickel finish very quickly.

e6000 is rather rubbery. It should be possible to scrape and/or peel it off the resin.
You can use solvents for any residue on the tube, but don't sand or scrape with metal. Don't use solvents on the grips and only scrape with plastic or wood. I would get a plastic spudger or a wooden stick, like a bamboo skewer or Popsicle stick, and try scraping.
