How much of this is recast?

Looks like possibly Matt's multipass. I know the weller and mask are recasts, but am asking for a friend who browses the board.

AY-MEN, brutha! Nope, that's not mine, but it is QUITE off. But you know, different people have access to different resources, and sometimes, a wonderful artistic impression comes out of limited resources. I like to cite deans Korben Dallas blaster as the ultimate example of this phenomenon. He had ONE TINY LITTLE photo that I believe he got from a video game box. Just one photo of the blaster. And from that, he sculpted a really beautiful version of the korben blaster. he had to totally interpret one side of the blaster also. It's a beautiful piece. It's crazy inaccurate, but it's beautiful! So who knows, maybe this multipass is the same way.

But no, it's not one of mine. I'm STUNNED that WRAP is still doing business on other boards. He's screwed PLENTY of poeple over there too, but they just keep eating it up. A few RPEffers even went over there to warn the board, but it sort of backfired. They sort of got the "We don't need your kind around here" welcome when the came over to inform folks. Oh well. What's that old saying about leading a horse to water???

Then again, people keep lining up to send SgtFang their money, and one need not look much farther than page 2 of any given forum to find a Sarge disaster happening. So I guess we're not really ones to point fingers.

On a completely seperate matter (since it was brought up by someone else)I have bought several things from Sarge and not had a single problem.
I have had slow shipping for several folks on this board, but I stay positive that in general the people here do their best. I have not really had a long term issue yet. Enough has been said about wrapofcons that I would never try to buy something he was selling that was a)much money b) not in his hand already, and I would still think of it as a risk.
That being said I have given repeat buisness to a couple of other people on this board who seem to take time sending things out - but so far they have always delivered - just a little slow, with not the greatest follow-up communication. But I think anything beyond Wrapofcons and his reputation is not what this thread is about so I will stop writing and say...

Iv never had problems, that might be because Iv only dealt with a few members on this board. I think people should be shipping items out in a way theyd like there items to be shipped.

I just wanted to say that Wrap didn't recast those pieces. He won a set of them and was unhappy with the pulls so he sold them at a discount on LOH. I don't have a dog in the fight, I just wanted to say that though.

Which pieces are you talking about then?? Maybe the badges are the ones sold by reelprops, can't tell from the size of the pic.

I meant any of those pieces. His roommate bought them from that seller and then they resold them after being disappointed in the quality. Just trying to heads up everyone that this guy (not wrap) is out there selling recasts.

I'll have you know, they weren't disasters, just major inconveniences!

I'm caught up with everything now but Ioncannon's HIC boxes, and I'm not making a penny on those. I'm shipping tonight's run of stuff in 10 days or less after reciept of payment, and unless something comes in today, I'm still caught up.

This move back home, while being rushed to May 14, was something I was going to do anyway this summer, (I didn't want to pay the bills here again next winter) but Phil's mom after 7 years has decided he can't control his own life and is repo-ing the house here, and is apparently booting everyone out, Phil included.:eek

Once I'm back home, in my temp shop and away from this madhouse, and I can maintain control of everything again, ( crosses fingers) "most" of the problems of the last year shouldn't happen again. I can start saving for the new building, and with luck, be set up in there by the end of summer like I'd planned in the first place.

Well my TIE lid arrived this morning Sarge just a tad over 3 weeks from ordering and 8 days of that was taken by customs here clearing the parcel thats good service in my book
