How much clay?

Hi guys,

I've decided to try my hand a clay sculpt. Klean Klay is readily available here in the UK, but my question would be how much to order for a 'standard' full mask? I don't want to order too little and have to re-order to finish the sculpt. Then again I don't want to over order and have it sitting around doing nothing (not to mention the cost).

Any advice would be cool. I can do conversion, so kilos or pounds would be a guide for me.

get yourself 50 lbs of the stuff! i got wed clay for my sculpt,can be kept for months if covered with a bag ect!

With a Armature underneath i use roughly 16-18 x2lb blocks of chavant. which is 32-36lbs. that is enough to get most sculpts big enough to fit a bio.
