How do you keep your gauntlets from sliding off?

I'm having a real time figuring this out. First, I need a way of keeping my gauntlets in place, but if I make something to complicated or permanent, I'll have a tough time getting my gloves on.

And it doesn't seem possible to put my gloves on first, then my gauntlets, as this could damage the paintjob on the gloves...it's a pretty tight space inside my gauntlets.

What do you all do?

I use 1/2 foam to keep the db gaunts in place. I have one small square in top.

I trimmed mine to the size i needed,(snug) then i bonded 2 strips of velcro on both sides ( 4 in total ) get a helper to velcro them shut, can wave my arms around like a jedi on speed without them sliding around

i want pics of that. my gauntlets fit great around my forearm, but are all loosy goosy around the wrist. i may try foam squares glued inside.

I went medieval on mine. Velcro strip inside the lower gaunt, velcro strip applied to lower forearm of skin. That keeps em from moving up or down. To keep the halves to gether I am going to put a zip tie around the outside then wrap tattered fabric over the zipties....ala P2 elder style.

I cut the lower leg portions of a wet-suit and attached them (yes my forearms are that big, I can't help it I'm a garbage man lol)
Mine were tight on the forearm, loose on the wrists. I still get some play so I might do the velcro thing as well just to tighten 'em up on the wrists. Circulation be damned !!
