How do I fix Mace Windu lightsaber grips?

I just bought a MR Mace Windu lightsaber and the grips look a bit dry and dull and with what looks like a little wear here and there which might be the dryness, not sure. How can I fix them up? Is there something I can put on them to make them look better/newer? Anything I should stay away from that will hurt the finish? The last thing I would want to do but can they be replaced? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm not so good at these things, but can't stand aside and watch a MR Mace Windu die.
SO! What I can tell you is that you go to a hardware store or something similar and ask the clerks/salesmen what they recomend you to do. Just to moist it up, there must be some gel or spray for it.

I'm not sure how to fix that thing -- it fell several stories to the ground below when Mace's hand was cut off, and Lord only knows what...

Stay away from petroleum based stuff like Armor All. That will only dry the rubber out. Try a high end water based auto rubber restorer. I use Wolfgang on my car with good results.
