How do I distress my joker coat

could do with some help on distressing my TDK Joker coat, any information or photos of how you have done yours would be very helpful.

Not sure what material you are working on or what look you are going for, but I have distressed cotton/poly clothing by washing a ton of times and using 100 grit sandpaper. Worked pretty well.

Do you mean distressing or weathering or both?
I used a mixture of charcoal powder and vasaline to great effect on the weathering of the lining inside the cuffs, an area that can be overlooked but is clearly seen in the promo studio shots of the costume.

I used some acryllic paint(blk/gry/brn) and hair pomade(wax) on the cuffs, around the buttons, collar to help give the worn in look.

Thanks for the reply. The Coat is made of wool.
