Damn. I've wanted something better than the 1:18 diecast and the 1/35 plastic kit, but this is a bit too much of a step up. Unless of course that price comes down some.

Well, it looks like there's some lighting... but *****, for that kind of money, I'd expect a bit more. Metal parts. Dead-on accuracy. And the ability to place the Hot Toys figure inside the cockpit.

And the ability to fight crime and bring evil to justice.

Is that asking too much?

BTW, where's the cool high end version of the BAT POD... or whatever they're calling that cool motorcycle in DK?

All of that is there, except for the crime fighting part. They are making the motorcycle as well.

I know it's big, but the weight doen't make sense if it's just plastic.
I suppose that could be shipping weight though with all the packing.

If anything, it looks slightly undersized, but the proportions look good. The functionality of it is pretty spiffy, with the lights and working cockpit canopy. They say it will fit the 12" figure, and Hot Toys has a record of producing some of the best 1/6 products out there.

They give Japanese pricing info. The Tumbler price at least is much lower than what BBTS was quoting(roughly $390).
