How big is Vader's chestbox?

Well it all depends on which one your going for. There is big differance in inches, width and Height between ANH and ESB/ROTJ. C

Ok, anyone WITH a box want to throw out some dimensions? Doesn't really matter which one, hence the term "rough." Any, all, whatever :cool

I heard from a few VERY RELIABLE sources that the ESB and ROTJ are 6.7/8 square while the ANH is 7 inches square.
I've got the same Honeywell light covers that were used on the ANH (on the ESB and Jedi too) when you blow up a photo of the box to the above measurements the light covers are exactly the same size as the Honywell ones I have.

7", perfect for what I'm on to. I'm going to whip up a quick and dirty mold and needed a rough parameter.
Thanks man, and that avatar cracks me the **** up :lol

There ya go...

Tall? It should be more or less the same all round,(6.7/8 - 6.15/16) as a square. Although ANH is not a perfect square all round.
See the thread about the ANH chestbox in the Costume forum, that may help :thumbsup

I thank you all for your help in the matter! The sizes mentioned above are ones I had found before from internet searching, but the person who posted them wasn't sure about it. I too matched sizes to picture with the coin slots I got off of eBay, but that was way after built my box. I patterned mine from some Star Wars reference magazine from the 80's and again, was pretty badly off! The only measurement I need now is the thickness of the box, not including the switches, buttons, etc.
